Chapter 6, Into the Forest Summary

The children are so cramped in the closet that they begin to move backward in order to make more room. Before anyone knows what is happening, all four children are in the woods in Narnia. Susan and Peter are quite surprised and they quickly apologize to Lucy for not believing her. It is so cold that the children take coats from the wardrobe, even though the coats are much too big and hang on them like royal robes.

Lucy suggests that they go visit Mr. Tumnus while they are there. Lucy leads the way to Mr. Tumnus's cave and is the first to see the disarray that awaits them inside. There is a note on the carpet that reports Mr. Tumnus was arrested for crimes against the Queen that include harboring.....
