Chapter 6 Summary

Stella awakens to Shana standing over her bed with the phone, saying there is a man on the phone for Stella. It turns out to be Donald trying to get Stella to come visit him at the hospital. When that doesn't work, Donald calls Stella at school. He tells Stella to bring him two bottles of aspirin and that he'll tell her stories like a grandfather is supposed to tell her.

Before Stella leaves the office, Mr. Frankel calls her into his office. He asks Stella about her skipping drama class. Stella says she doesn't plan on attending again, to which Mr. Frankel thinks she is just being this way because it's the last few weeks of school and that she's already gotten into Princeton. In the middle of the conversation, Mr. Frankel gets a phone call that makes him very angry and...
