Summary

In 'Toby', Toby Tyler came to Pine Haven because she didn't have anyplace better to go. She had had a good life in Columbia but it got to be too much work to keep up her little house and yard. Toby had been a high school English teacher who never married and spent a lot of her life looking after her mother. Toby is the youngest of the residents at Pine Haven and she enjoys talking to Abby on her visits. Toby adores Rachel because she is smart and direct and would love to be friends with her.
