Chapter Twenty-five is a collection of loosely connected thoughts from Damien's time in jail. Damien reports the progress that he is trying to make by performing the HGA prayer ritual. He speaks of the work he puts into the ritual without having yet seen any payoff in the form of the angel for which he searches. Through this time he gives up on faith and magick.
