Summary

Chapter 13 is written from Robin’s perspective. As it begins Robin hides the fact that she has had a nightmare in which she feels someone is strangling her from Matthew. Afterwards, she goes to the House of Commons for work as that is where both Chiswell and Gaeraint Winn work. Chiswell's daughter, Izzy is there to meet her. Izzy has the listening devices and is happy to see Robin. She tells Robin that her father is overwhelmed and says that the blackmail is unfair as what is did was legal and then was not, but she does not say what he did. Izzy also mentions that she knows Strike and had been attracted to him. She also knows Charlotte and did not think that she was a good match for Strike. Izzy lets Robin know that she will be leaving and her half-brother...
