A large number of toys that were collected for the children at the Center for Children with AIDS are stolen a few weeks before Christmas. It is this situation that brings Alicia and Jack together for the first time.

Clayton House

The Clayton House is the home owned by Ronald Clayton that is left to Alicia in Ronald's will. Alicia becomes embroiled in a fight over the house with her half brother, Thomas.

Lamp

Kemel has a lamp in his apartment that he and Nazer seem fascinated by. When Takita goes to look at the lamp, he cannot figure out what is important about it. It is later revealed that this lamp has been taken from the Clayton House and is powered by broadcast power.
