Don Alonse

Don Alonse is a nobleman whose role is minor but who provides a way of filling in information about the activities that are going on behind the scenes.

Chimene

Chimene is Don Gomes daughter, and she is in love with Don Rodrigue. In the beginning of the play she learns that the king has approved her union with Don Rodrigue.
