Chapter 7 Summary

Azucena is looking for a CD of the music that resurrected Rodrigo in the office of the Center for the Oversight of Previous Existences and she tries to coerce Cuquita to find out where she can get it on the black market. Azucena secures the CD, but in a fight for an aerophone booth where she has gone to teleport herself back to her apartment, she is missent to the house of the man she had been contending with for the phone booth. When she finally gets back to her apartment, she finds the man there murdered and she realizes that she had been the intended victim. She goes to a "coyote," who has a supply of bodies generated from fertilized eggs that have no souls because they had no mothers and arranges.....
