Siberia

This is where the story takes place. The main character, Joe Mack, escapes from a prison in Siberia and is on the run in different locations within the taiga of Siberia for over a year.

Lake Baikal Region Prison

This is the prison barracks from which Joe Mack escapes from. This prison is surrounded by a ten-foot high electrified barbed wire fence.

Vanyushin's Cabin

This cabin is where Mack steals a sweat shirt, canned meat, and a knife in the beginning of his journey. Two geologists are staying in this cabin and they do not realize they have been robbed.
