Bilbringi

A system rich in minerals, Bilbringi hosts a vast Imperial shipyard. Smugglers infiltrating the vast shipyard witness suspicious activity connected with midsized asteroids, which it turns out are being cloaked (made invisible) for deployment around Coruscant, capital of the New Republic. Mazzic and Ellor destroy an unfinished Star Destroyer and fight off avenging TIE fighters. Later, learning that the Bilbringi Shipyards are equipped with a CGT array, the New Republic and the smugglers each independently seeks to capture it. Meanwhile, Grand Admiral Thrawn stakes out the shipyards to capture the Rebel fleet. As the battle turns against the Empire, with attacks on the Golan II Defense Platforms, Thrawn is forced to divert some warships, and is assassinated, forcing Captain Pellaeon to order a retreat. The war effectively ends.
