Chapters 4-7 Summary

Poderis is is an ideal transfer point for clone traffic and a trap for Luke, who senses an Imperial Intelligence tail by the ysalamiri harness that blocks the Force. Luke almost traps himself by leaping atop a smooth-faced, angled wind shield-barrier but uses his lightsaber to cut a groove in the surface down which he slides and out of sight, he cuts a hatch. Aboard Chimaera, Thrawn is not surprised to hear that Luke has evaded capture and prepares to capture Luke in space. Luke knows that he has been allowed to escape and watches for another trap. He realizes that "Delta Source" has pinpointed his location. As Luke's freighter is captured by tractor beam, he slips aboard his X-wing fighter in the nose and escapes in the debris cloud that erupts as.....
