One night Bourdain receives a call in the kitchen and the caller tells him to "Feed the bitch or she'll die!" Bourdain knows this is Adam Real-Last-Name-Unknown, the psychotic bread maker, calling to ask Bourdain to feed his bread dough starter because he is in no condition to come in to take care of it himself.
