Chapter 13 Summary

The chapter opens with a view of the two men contented and at ease. They talk about feeling out of danger. After they have sex Molina goes to bed, and he wishes he could just die in his sleep, as if he has reached all his dreams now.

Valentin again asks for more of the movie. Molina continues. The man ends up in the hospital because he has abused his body so much. Somehow she finds him and comes to be with him and to care for him. She takes him to a little cottage and tries to care for him, but in order to pay the rent, she feels that she has to become a prostitute. The man finds this out and feels he cannot be the reason she has to do this. So he leaves because he does not want to be a burden to...
