Molina is summoned to the Warden's office again. The Warden thinks Molina is not getting the needed information out of Valentin. But Molina assures him that he is very close. He tells the Warden that if they mention to Valentin that Molina might be getting moved or getting out, Valentin might open up to him. Although the Warden is hesitant about this, he agrees.
When Molina gets back to the cell, the cell mates eat and discuss their relationship. Valentin seems to be trying to tell Molina that because they are in prison and because there are no outside influences on them, they can be to each other whatever they want. Then Molina drops the information about getting released. While Valentin is happy for him, the news also seems to have given him pause.....
