Summary

Chapter 7 is narrated by Cameron as a lightning alert goes off in Irabelle, indicating news about Mare. A girl tells Cameron to come with her to the alert and she reminisces on her parents as they walk through the halls. She arrives at control at the same time as Kilorn. They enter the room where Cal, Rash and Tahir, newbloods Nanny and Ada, Farley, and several officers wait. Cameron notes Farley’s attempt to hide the fact that she is four months pregnant under a large jacket. The Colonel enters with Bree and Tramy, followed by Julian. Several screens in the room turn on and show Maven at his throne in the Silver court.
