Act 4, Scene 4 Summary

Cordelia, a doctor and some soldiers enter the French encampment. Cordelia is concerned about her father's condition, which seems to be madness. She asks the doctor if her father can be healed. The doctor tells her that Lear is in need of rest and also that medicinal herbs can force him to sleep. A messenger comes, announcing that the British armies are approaching.
