Act 3, Scene 7 Summary

Cornwall, Regan, Goneril, Edmund and some servants gather in Gloucester's castle. Cornwall gives Goneril a communiquy for Albany, saying that the army of France has landed. He orders the servants to find Gloucester. Regan says that Gloucester should be hung, and Goneril adds that his eyes should be plucked out. Cornwall tells Edmund to stay there, since he should not witness what will be done to his father.

Oswald enters and says that Gloucester has secreted the king away to Dover. Cornwall tells Oswald to get horses for Goneril, and Goneril leaves with Edmund. Some servants bring in Gloucester, and Cornwall orders him tied up. Gloucester pleads for them not to mistreat him, since they are his guests. Regan calls him a traitor, which Gloucester denies.
