Act 3, Scene 3 Summary

Gloucester and Edmund talk at Gloucester's castle. Gloucester tells his son that he is unhappy with how the dukes and their wives are treating King Lear. They commanded Gloucester not to offer Lear shelter against the storm. Gloucester mentions that there is a falling out between Albany and Cornwall and that he's received a letter mentioning the gathering army of France, poised to invade. Gloucester is loyal to the king, and he plans to find him and give him shelter. He tells Edmund to say that he is sick if anyone asks about him and departs. Edmund realizes that he can gain.....
