Act 2, Scene 3 Summary

Edgar is in the woods. He escaped his pursuers by hiding in the hollow of a tree. All of the routes out of the area are being watched, and so he has nowhere to go. He has decided to disguise himself to escape detection. He will cover his face with dirt, clothe himself in only a blanket and knot his hair. Then, he will pretend to be a madman, calling himself Poor Tom.
