Chapter 4, Never Ending Battle Summary

Chapter Four "Never Ending Battle' starts with scripture and graphics depicting all out war between the super heroes. Norman begs the Spectre to stop the violence, but he says he cannot. Superman pleads with Captain Marvel to snap out if it and tries to remind him that he is an ally, not an enemy. As they continue fighting, Superman never ceases to try to snap Captain Marvel out of his brainwashed spell.

In the meantime, the U.N. decides to send nuclear weapons to destroy the warring super humans and heroes. The decision is not an easy one. One U.N. rep says the only way to ensure future generations will recall the decision as humanity's last choice is to ensure that there will be future generations.

The super heroes fight the rebels, and Captain Marvel keeps Superman on the defensive...
