Chapters 11-14 Summary

In Chapter 11, Brad is angry with Zoe for going to the forest alone. He goes to Zoe's house to confront her. He finds Simon playing downstairs. Zoe is upstairs, making slipcovers for her new sofa. Brad goes upstairs to speak to Zoe. Brad finds it hard to confront Zoe. She is busy and exhausted. Brad is relieved that she is not seriously hurt. Zoe says she does not have time to fight. She has to finish working plus bathe Simon, read to him and put him to bed. Brad tells Zoe that he can do the bedtime ritual and she can finish her sewing. Zoe is skeptical but agrees.

Brad and Simon have a great time together. Brad ends up being soaking wet but enjoys every minute. He reads to Simon, tucks him in and returns to Zoe. Zoe had managed to sneak a peak...
