Act 5, Scene 3 Summary

Cassius watches the battle, which is not going well for his forces. Titinius reports that Brutus gave the order to attack Octavius too early and now their forces are breaking apart. Pindarus, Cassius' servant arrives and urges Cassius to get far away from the battle. He reports that Cassius' tents are on fire. Cassius asks Titinius to take his horse and go see if the troops surrounding his tents are friends or enemies. Titinius leaves, and Pindarus, who is watching from a hill, tells Cassius what is happening with Titinius. Titinius is enclosed by horsemen who take him and shout for joy. Cassius is depressed, thinking his friend has died, and tells Pindarus to come down from the hill. Cassius promises Pindarus, whom Cassius took prisoner and made his servant, that.....
