Chapters 21-22 Summary

Chapter 21 starts with Zach entering the gazebo and finding Jean bound and gagged to a chair and Tory with a knife. As Zach ungags Jean, Lindsey immediately begs Zach not to tell the Gardiners because they will tell her parents. Tory tries to say that they found Jean like this and that they were trying to stop her from attempting to commit suicide. When Zach does not believe her, Tory states that he doesn't believe her because he is under one of Jean's love spells. Zach pays no attention to her and concentrates on freeing Jean. Zach helps Jean into Petra's apartment, which is located directly off of the garden, and explains to Petra that Tory had Jean bound and gagged.
