Chapter 24 - Epilogue Summary

Lachlan House is burning. Two girls are missing -Jesse and Chloe. Jude leads the way into Murrumbidgee House, to head to the tunnels that he helped construct years before. Griggs goes into the tunnel first. He brings out Jessa, who is unconscious, and Chloe crawls out behind him.

Taylor and Jude wait in the hospital. Jessa survives, and Hannah reappears. Taylor remembers being on Jude's shoulders when she was little, and realizes that the love in her life was given to her by Hannah and Jude.

The fire is the result of an electrical fault. It is revealed that Fitz accidentally killed Hannah's brother; and that Jude and Hannah blame each other for being alive when no one else is, and it is getting in the way of love. Taylor days goodbye to Griggs, and Jude will be bringing...
