Chapters 26-32 Summary

Shannon begins thinking she needs to find a better way to kill Brandy. As she is thinking this, Shannon finds the postcard from the Space Needle in Brandy's book and realizes it is the card she wrote and tried to hide. Brandy now tells her that she will love Shannon forever and offers to be a family with her, just the two of them. Shannon is grossed out by the idea of being proposed to by her brother. Brandy also confesses that she never wanted to be a woman, she simply thought the idea of sexual reassignment surgery was the ultimate method of self mutilation. Brandy also confesses to envying Shannon because of her disfigurement.
