Summary

Emmie cries in the bathroom before art class. She is more angry than sad. She finishes crying and heads to class, relieved that Joe Lungo and his friends are not in art, but anxious because Tyler Ross is. On the way to class, she runs into Joe and Tyler. Joe makes fun of Emmie, and she surprises herself by telling him to stop. He continues to make fun of her, and then she and Tyler surprise one another by shouting at Joe at the same time to be quiet. They start laughing and then Tyler walks Emmie to art class. He shows her his project and tells her that he got into art a few years ago. They talk and Emmie decides to let her previous embarrassment fade away rather than obsess about it. In the comic strip, Katie sits alone in art class...
