Easton Academy

Easton Academy is a prep school in New England. It is a very wealthy school with old traditions. The alumni of the school are very involved and the rules are very strict to keep the reputation of the school elite. Reed is one of the few students at Easton that does not come from a wealthy family. She is there on scholarship. Many of the students there think that Reed is not worthy to be at Easton because of her middle class background. A new headmaster is at Easton in the book.
