Summary

In "Evening," "Amargo, Arizona Territory, 1893," Harlan arrives at Nora's. Nora mentions the broken "Sentinel" window, of which Harlan claims no knowledge. He asks after Rob and Dolan. When Emmett mentions buying Emmett's old cart, she asks if he has found any evidence of him on the road. He denies knowledge.

When Josie begins teasing Harlan about his beard, suggesting she shave it, Nora grows annoyed and sends her to pick berries.
