Franks

The birch beer and hotdog stand on Route 31 that Frank bought on a lark and that remains, to this day, his proudest purchase.

Haddam

The community in which Frank has spent the majority of his adult years. All three of his children were born there when he was still married to Ann, and his son Ralph is buried there. Although Frank abandoned Haddam several times in the dark days following his divorce, he ultimately settled back into life in this lovely community and found a new career selling real estate to others who've chosen to make Haddam their home.

Deep River

The upscale town in Connecticut where Ann has taken the children to live with her new husband, Charley. Paul dislikes Deep River, and usually refers to it as Deep Water.
