Part 2: Chapter 14 Summary

Sam and Emmett are listening to Bruce Springsteen. Sam is sad because she believes Tom could never dance with Springsteen's energy. Later that night, Lonnie comes over and announces he is going to a lake for a few days with his buddies. He asks to take her best pair of black underwear on the trip.

Anita comes for dinner. Emmett and Anita seem happy to be spending time together. After dinner, they all watch M*A*S*H. Sam is irritated that Emmett does not know what to do with Anita except watch television. Sam calls Lonnie and tells him he can.....
