Ana

Ana is the protagonist of Incarnate. She is eighteen years old and has lived in an isolated cabin with her mother deep in a forest. Her mother, Li, has been cruel and abusive to Ana during her entire life. Ana's father abandoned her when she was a baby. When she turns eighteen, she leaves her mother's cabin for the city of Heart where she hopes to visit the Great Library and learn more about herself, her origin, her father and her purpose. In the world where Ana lives, she is the only "new soul" to be born in all the five-thousand years of the land's existence. Everyone else has been reincarnated and has lived multiple lives. Although she has been isolated and not allowed to have friends, everyone in the land knows about Ana.
