Chapters 25 and 26 Summary

Chapter 25: Trapped

Li forces Ana to run laps around the house each morning and then do strengthening exercises. She is trained on how to work at the guard stations but given no weapon. She hides the small knife that Sam had given her under her pillow. Her studies are boring about such things as irrigation systems and plows. She is not allowed to continue her other studies and can not visit any of her friends. Li slaps her on the wrist if she asks about Sam and the others who were arrested. She isn't even allowed to visit Sine. She reminds Ana that she is a nosoul and has no real feelings and barely exists. She told Li that Sam had made her real through his music and that people wil remember her.
