Chapters 15 and 16 Summary

Chapter 15: Market

At home, Ana sits in her room for a long while assuring herself that Sam is still Sam despite all the incarnations of him that she has seen. Ana knows that she has to get serious and do better than the Council expects her to do. She can't risk messing up and being returned to Li or exiled from Heart. Ana goes downstairs and starts practicing piano while Sam writes in his journal.

They return to the market this time to get Ana new clothes. It is the first time in her life that she will have new clothes. She is thrilled. Sam snaps a photo of her on his SED and shows it to her. She thinks she looks dumb; he thinks she looks adorable. Ana has been progressing well in her dance lessons with Stef. Still her...
