Summary

In Chapter 10, Rob tells his reader that he spent the next several days looking for the blue tracksuit man. Seven men matched the description given by Damien and Jessica, but all had alibis.

Sam seemed to be the only one making progress. One morning, he came in with a map showing where the roadway would be built. Sam explained that even before the motorway was proposed, the land where that road was to be built had been bought and rezoned by a variety of holding companies. Four farmers would not sell their land, but waited to see why the government wanted it. They tried to rezone the land themselves because it would raise the value but these requests were refused by the county council.
