Summary

Boyd showers Reyna with praise for being so good to him. Their lovemaking has never been better. At the office, her coworkers notice how giddy she is. She cannot help it. She is deeply smitten with Boyd. Boyd, however, is starting to get tired with his job at the diner. He misses the excitement of crime. One day Oliver, Maxwell, and his other friend, Claude, Lynette’s brother, make an appearance at the jungle gym Reyna takes Oliver to. They try to persuade Reyna to register the car they plan to drive across state lines to smuggle the cigarettes in her name. She says she will think about it, even though she wants no involvement. The smuggling operation goes into effect. The car is registered in Lynette’s name. Everyone agrees Claude is a terrible driver, so their friend, Wiley, drives instead.
