Summary

In Chapter 34 Christopher steps through the treehouse door into the Imaginary side. The Nice Man warns him never to come to the Imaginary side alone or at night. The street is the only place safe from the Hissing Lady.

In Chapter 35, Christopher opens the treehouse door and is face to face with the Nice Man for the first time. According to Christopher he has blue eyes, a handsome face, and scars running up and down his skin.

In Chapter 36 there is a time skip and Christopher is back in the parking lot of the golf course waiting for his mom to pick him up from sledding.
