Chapter 6, It's a Gas Gas Gas Summary and Analysis

Miss Pamela starts the chapter waiting for a call from Jimmy Page. Only "local yokels" or folks ordering shirts are calling. She and Michele go to the Palamino to see Waylon Jennings perform. She finds him attractive and sends him signals. After his set, she and Michele approach to say how much they appreciate his music.

She attends several strange events in between dreaming of being Jimmy Page's wife. She and Mercy go to see the Burritos playing in Topanga Canyon, and in walk the Rolling Stones. She dances, pretending not to be phased by their presence. Mick invites her and Mercy to their place in Laurel Canyon and starts coming on to her. She says no, but wonders where Jimmy is while she says no to Mick Jagger.
