Chapter 9 Summary

As Angus takes the exit to Smithy's house, Smithy notices the television van exits too. When they pull up in the driveway, Smithy tells the TV producer that if he films her that she will tell everyone that Angus groped her and tried to get to do filthy things.

Jack realizes that the police never found these photos because he took his dad's cell phone out of the vehicle. Madison receives Smithy's text message and they learn that Smithy is not on board with doing the television show.

As Smithy walks to the front door, Cheryl comes out to make a big show of welcoming Smithy home. Smithy tells her aunt that the camera crew is not coming in and locks Cheryl out of the house. As Smithy looks at the house, she can see that nothing of her mom remains. Madison calls...
