In "Gametime," Bombeck says that she watched several hours of game shows and was amazed at the wealth of knowledge that came from the women on these shows. Citing their ability to provide answers to questions on an array of topics that include the "fuel formula for the Russian Soyuz XI space flight," Bombeck says that she has personally "gone to pot" on the mental front.
