Craig

Craig is a character from "Mr. Harrigan's Phone." He grew up in a small town in Maine, Harlow, where the population was less than 6,000. His mother died when he was very young, almost before he could remember. An only child, he was extremely close with his father.

Craig was a precocious reader who started reading before he could walk. When he was asked to read at church, he agreed. Mr. Harrigan saw Craig read at church and hired him to read to him for a few hours a week. Craig loved working for Mr. Harrigan. He had never had his own money before, and it was nice to be able to save and have cash for outings with his friends.
