Chapters 7-9 Summary

Chapter 7 finds Lucy, Madison, Jessica, Matt, Dave and Connor getting pizza after the basketball game. Although there are several moments of awkward conversation and silence, Connor shows his interest in Lucy throughout the night by giving her a kiss on the cheek when he arrives at the pizza restaurant, putting his arm around her as they walk to their table, putting his hand on the back of her neck while they walk around eating gelato, putting his hand on her knee as he drives her home and giving her several good night kisses when dropping her off at her house. Throughout the evening, Lucy and Connor are mostly quiet, and Lucy is in a state of shock, but they appear to have a strong connection and Connor's behaviors towards her seem to be effortless and natural.
