Ann Mitchell

Ann is born in Idaho but was raised in Poole, England. She lives there, listening to her family tell stories of Idaho; and she decides to move there in 2004. Ann gets a job teaching music and leading the choir at Hayden Charter. Here, she meets a student named Eliot, whose voice entrances her. She drives Eliot home one night. The next day, Ann learns that Eliot has withdrawn from school and will be moving to another city with one of his parents now that their divorce is finalized. Ann feels very upset about her loss.
