US Robots

US Robots is the manufacturing plant where "Robbie" was manufactured. This is also the company Susan Calvin worked at and saved from potential ruin, the company that designs, manufactures and tests the robots in the other chapters/stories, and to greater and lesser degrees, is referred to in all the chapters/stories in the book.

New York City

New York City is the city where the Westons take Gloria for a month to help her forget about Robbie. It's described in the text as "paradise for the sightseer more than ever in its history."
