Summary

Two scientists in the development department, Gregory Powell and Michael Donovan, often handle the harder cases of problems with the robots. As an example, Dr. Calvin tells the reporter of a time when Powell and Donovan were on a space station on Mercury after robots were banned on Earth and began to be used as work robots in space. This station was to be a mining project that had once been abandoned but with the use of robots was to be reopened. To begin their work, Powell and Donovan needed to collect some selenium to power the photo bank cells that power the station. Powell sent a robot to do the collection, the only robot they had with them, but it had failed to return.
