Letters

The letters represent an extension of Chris’ mind and her need to be honest and reflect on experiences in her life. Because she sees herself as equal to Dick, or at least wants to prove herself as his equal, she is able to write to him and be honest and direct about herself. The letters are Chris’ way of coming to terms with letting go of who she has been thus far in her life.
