The book's author. Most of the stories come from his life during his 20s. Some stem from when he was still a student and the last appear as the book was being prepared for publication, along with an incredible publicity boost given by the televisual media. Tucker Max comes from a wealthy, educated family "stricken by" multiple marriages. He confesses, with a legitimate complaint that his feelings have been so hurt that by the time he was in his early 20s, that he wasn't confident that he even had any emotions left. Evidently, something is terribly wrong with Tucker. He has a troupe of friends, who fully support the fraternity & sorority hazing school of thought.
