Chapters 6-12 Summary

Chapter 6:

Nora goes to morning PE and finds that Elliot is now in her class. Elliot tells Nora that he is a jock through and through. To prove it, he volunteers to become captain of one of the softball teams. The other captain is Marcie Millar, a sworn enemy to Nora and Vee. Marcie laughs when Elliot chooses Nora. While at bat, Nora hears a voice in her head. She thinks it belongs to Patch. Nora looks and sees Patch standing near the fence. Elliot gives Nora some pointers and she makes a good hit, although she is tagged out at second base. Elliot asks Nora if Patch is her boyfriend. Nora says that Patch is no more than her bio partner. Elliot asks Nora out on a date and she accepts.
