Summary

At the start of Chapter 51, Robin muses that bad things happen in threes and that she should have realized that things were about to crash down around her. She and Morrie have gone to the library to get some books out. Robin refuses to tell Morrie about meeting Nomsa and the letter she gave her for Beauty. When they get on the bus to go home, Robin realizes she has lost her mother’s mascara. They go back to the library to look for it but do not find it. Robin cries and Morrie comforts her.

When Robin gets home, the phone rings and it is Johan on the line. He sounds upset and tells Robin that Victor has been beaten up and is in the hospital. Robin gives Johan Edith’s emergency contact number and he hangs up. When Beauty comes home...
