Book 4, Chapter 13 Summary
Jenna went to the Hot D'Or Awards in Cannes. It occurs at the same time as the Cannes Film Festival. She, Joy, Steve and two other girls went to represent Wicked. Jenna was excited. She had achieved a bit of stardom, and she loved it. She even took over interviewing mainstream stars for the E! Channel coverage of the Film Festival. She ended up winning the Starlet of the Year and the Best American Actress, in her category. However, she was becoming dependent on the public to give her what no man had ever been ever to give her. She was no longer allowing anyone to control her, but the crowd did. She gave them whatever they wanted. Jenna headed toward Diva status and her actions were growing in the same direction.
