Jenna writes in her diary that she has broken her arm and just had the cast removed, her father is having plastic surgery, and that she played an April Fools joke on Marjorie. Marjorie was very angry with Jenna, but Jenna thought it was great.

Jenna writes about important things in her diary. The reader realizes that scaring Marjorie must have been very important to her. Most of the entry is about the April Fool's joke. It makes us realize that Marjorie was important to her.
